Stress is a natural part of life; however, the deep feelings of stress and anxiety could lead to negative health impacts. One area where people are finding themselves experiencing increasing stress is at work, facing the risk of employee burnout or the state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion.
Organizations must do what they can to “do no harm” and provide the necessary tools for employees to deal with whatever stressors they may be facing. The working environment should be created in a way that promotes well-ness and well-being, gives employees flexibility and autonomy, and provides significant levels of social support.
